After a high octane capital showdown, the final results for the Delhi Election 2020 are out now and as predicted by the exit poll, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has swept home by a pretty big margin. After having won 67 seats in the last assembly elections, AAP has won 62 seats this time around.
Their major counterpart Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won 8 seats this time which is an improvement from the last time when they had to be contempt with 3 seats. Congress had to be contempt with nil seats again as was the case last time around.
The victory puts AAP in an unchartered territory whereby they have managed to gain the public faith once again as showcased by their landslide victory. The newly-elected Delhi government will take oath on February 14. Arvind Kejriwal will once again helm the Delhi government for AAP. It remains to be seen who will form part of the cabinet this time around.
