India’s major oil & gas company has declared the results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2020.
- Total Revenue: The consolidated Net Revenue for the quarter declared by 11.18% to Rs. 66,253.61 cr, from Rs. 74,595.64 cr in June quarter 2019.
- Net Profit: The Company has posted net profit declined by 13.20% of Rs 761.65 crore in Q2FY20 over Rs 877.48 crore in the previous quarter. While Profit Margins decreased to 0.56% for the quarter ended 31st Dec’18.
- EBITDA Margins: Margins increased by 30.53% QoQ & 20.26% YoY.
As per Lokesh Sethia, SEBI Registered Research Analyst, the stock is trading at Rs.310.62 per share, down by 1.02% post quarterly result as the company reported lower than expected weak performance. The gross refining margin for the quarter stood at $2.60 a barrel in this quarter. Moreover, tax expenses increased by 28.22%. Hence, we recommend it to avoid.
