FM Nirmala Sitharaman is all set to present her first maiden Union Budget 2019 in the parliament. Instead of a traditional briefcase, Finance Minister has seen carrying Bahi Khata (ledger) to carry the budget papers. On this, the CEA KV Subramanian said, “It is the Indian tradition. It symbolizes our departure from the slavery of Western thought.”
Not only FM Nirmala Sitharaman but the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reached to the parliament. In Union Budget 2019, we are expected to see the fiscal interventions and latest policy meet regarding the fiscal deficit, capital expenditure, the repo rate, minimum alternative tax (MAT), revised estimates, indirect taxes, direct taxes, and capital expenditure, and corporate tax, etc.
The budget will start at 11 am but the cabinet meeting held underway ahead of budget 2019 where the cabinet has approved the budget 2019.
