Lok Sabha Election 2019: The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) is contesting in Bihar in alliance with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Janta Dal-United (JDU). On yesterday, the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Modi said that the jobs is not an issue in Bihar it is because the ruling coalition has helped create jobs by extending electricity to its remotest villages.
On his 36th roadshow in the Bihar state, the Sushil Modi who is regarded as the prominent leader of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) also mentioned in an interview that if every village has electricity now that means jobs have been created. Electricity has reached every village, the agricultural feeder will last till December, roads are being constructed, there is so much development happening. We have provided jobs to thousands of engineers in the Bihar Public Service Commission. There are many jobs in the subordinate commission too.
He also claimed that the opposition Rashtriya Janta Dal never refers to the development work done by the Nitish Kumar government because it has a little to show for the 15 years it ruled the state.
Sushil Modi also talked about the substantial improvement in the standard of living in Bihar under the BJP-JDU rule. “People have toilets. Gas connections, roads and bank accounts. In short, people no longer have to stand in line.”
The digitization has cut down the corruption and people’s dependence on middle-man. In improving the conditions in Bihar, the Sushil Modi claimed that Bihar is heading for a change and will stand steadily on its liquor ban of 2016. “As long as I and Nitish are alive, there will be prohibition. And if anyone removes the prohibition, he/she will be wiped out from Bihar politics.” - He added.
