The major stocks of the Auto sector hit a fresh 52-week low on NSE today after no major direct measure proposed to revive demand growth for the auto sector was announced in the Union Budget 2019. As a result, the shares of Hero MotoCorp, Maruti Suzuki, and TVS Motor plunged and touched their respective 52-week lows on NSE today.
Hero MotoCorp came down to Rs. 2,371.00 from its previous 52-week low of 2,475.00 of May 14, 2019, while the Maruti Suzuki plunged more than 3 percent and came down to Rs. 6,146.00 from its previous 52-week low of Rs. 6,300.00.
On the other hand, the TVS Motor touched the fresh 52-week low of Rs. 407.05 from a previous 52-week low of 421.00.
As of now, the Nifty50 index is trading at 11,618.90, 192.95 points down. (12:26 PM IST)
