After the shocking personal decision of Ajit Pawar to join hands with BJP has stunned the Shiv Sena and the Congress party. The Bhartiya Janata Party’s Fadnavis was sworn in as a CM of Maharashtra and NCP’s Ajit Pawar as his deputy in an early morning political strike.
It was just after the Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress went through the final motions of forming a new coalition government with NCP chief Sharad Pawar saying there was “unanimity” over Uddhav Thackeray as chief minister.
On the decision of Ajit Pawar the Sharad Pawar said, “Ajit Pawar’s decision to support the BJP to form the Maharashtra Government is his personal decision and not that of the National Congress Party (NCP). We place on record that we do not support or endorse this decision of his.”
It is a big day when the state plunged into a political crisis after the Sena broke its three-decade-long ties with the BJP after the latter declined to share the chief minister’s post.
Shortly after the swearing-in the Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated both through the tweet followed by Union Home Minister, Amit Shah.
