The European major benchmark index the FTSE 100 opened on a negative note at the level of 7,658.25 from its previous closing level of 7,708.44. The index is seeing opening lower than 40 points in its Monday’s trading session. In fact, the DAX index also followed the footsteps of FTSE and opened on a negative bias at the level of 12,820.51 from its previous closing level of 12,860.40. However, the Germany shares were higher at the close of Friday trade due to the gains in the Telecoms, Media and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
The CAC 40 also opened on a flat note and couldn’t sustain its opening level and start surging in its early trading hour. Today’ it opened at the level of 5,477.53 from its previous closing level of 5,480.54.
