India’s largest consumer goods maker Hindustan Unilever Ltd. has a good start today and opened trading with a positive bias on 1,604.80 from its previous close of 1,601.40. In doing so, the stock price moved upwards and breaks the 52-week high of 1,624.40 and surged to a level of 1,626.90. Given the circumstances and current status of the company, Hindustan Unilever is more confident that stock price will be rising even higher than before.
Despite the fact that company received a notice in January of this year from the anti-profiteering body for not passing on the benefits of lower GST rates to the consumer.
Hindustan Unilever Ltd. main products/revenue segments include personal care which contributed Rs 33,895.00 crore to sales value.
