Jet Airways, which is struggling to keep itself functioning because of rising debts and higher oil prices has appointed Robin Kamark as nominee director of stakeholder Etihad Airways PJSC. He will replace Harsh Mohan who is presently Chief-Group Support Services Officer for the Etihad Aviation Group with effect from 1 December 2018.
Mr. Kamark has 17 years of experience working at Scandinavian Airlines System. Etihad Airways has 24% stakes in Jet.
Earlier this month, Tata Sons Limited, holding company of the Tata Group, was in talks with the Jet Airways to acquire the stakes, but no official proposal was made for the same.
