On Friday, the NSE 50-share benchmark index which opened slightly higher at 10,780.25 closed to 21.65 points down at 10,724.40.
It is the sixth downtrend session in a row due to discouraging Q3 results and uncertainty over trade war talks that weighed on the sentiment.
As a result, the index formed a bearish candle on daily candlestick charts.
On the other hand, the Nifty Bank closed at 16,794.25, 176.35 points down. Galing view from previous trade, it is expected to see a flat to positive opening in today's trading session.
