The NSE 50-share benchmark index which opened near 11,744.45 at previous trading session ended almost on a flat note at 11,691.45, 0.050 points down. During its trading session, it touched an intraday low of 11,625.10.
On the other hand, the BSE-SENSEX closed at 39,112.74, 66.40 points up. Both the benchmark indices closed on a flat note on the back of buying and selling in equities.
Global Update: In the US Federal Reserve meeting, the interest rates were held steady but with the signaled possible rate cuts later the year, as it responded to increased economic uncertainty and a drop in expected inflation.
Rupee Update: The rupee inched up 2 paise to end at 69.68 against US dollar on yesterday.
Taking cues from the previous trading session, it is expected to see a flat to positive opening in today’s trading session.
