The NSE 50-share benchmark index Nifty 50 which opened flat on yesterday opened at 10,331.85 and closed 159.05 points higher at 10,460.10 from its previous closing level of 10,301.05. During its trading session, it touched an intraday high of 10,482.35.
After the flat opening, the market surged and succeed to closed above 10,400-mark. Despite it is expected to see a negative opening in today’s session, a plunge of 200 points.
The Wall Street’s US major Stocks slid to a three-month low on Wednesday, with the benchmark S&P500 stop index falling more than 3.0 percent. It’s the biggest fall since February.
