The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty50 index which opened near 11,727.05 at previous trading session closed 158.35 points down at the level of 11,594.45. The market started on a negative note and continued the downward trend later in the session.
It is due to the rise in crude oil prices that dented the traders’ sentiment. On the other hand, the BSE-Sensex fell sharply and closed near 38,645.18, 1.26 percent down. As a result, it formed a ‘Bearish Belt Hold’ pattern on daily candlestick charts.
Global Update: The Wall Street closed on a quite flat note at previous trading session due to gains in the energy sectors otherwise the investors were staying on the sidelines ahead of quarterly results.
Taking cues from the previous trading session and global sentiment it is expected to see a flat opening in today’s trading session
