The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty50 index which opened near 10,949.80 closed lower near 10,961.85. During its trading session, it touched an intraday low of 10,864.15. As a result, the marker snapped the five-day winning streak and closed lower, dented by profit booking as well as correction in global peers.
On the other hand, the 30-share BSE-Sensex was down 134.32 points at 36,444.64 while the Nifty50 fell 39.10 points to 10,922.80 and formed ‘Hanging Man’ kind of pattern on the daily candlestick chart.
A gloomy global economic growth outlook made the Wall Street drops on Tuesday, snapping a four-session rally.
Taking cues from the previous trading session it is expected to see a flat opening in today’s trading session.
