The NSE 50-share benchmark index which opened near 10,782.70 at previous trade closed 1.80 points up at 10,791.65. During its trading session it touched an intraday high of 10,801.55.
On the other hand, the BSE-Sensex index closed to 35,871.48, 26.87 points down.
Taking cues from previous trade and global sentiment it is expected to see a flat opening in today's trading session.
Update: On Feb. 22, the oil touched it's highest since mid-November.
Update: Yesterday, the US president Trump said he would delay an increase in tariffs on Chinese goods.
