The NSE 50-share benchmark index Nifty50 which opened on a positive note on Friday closed 237.85 points higher at 10,472.50. The bulls were back in action when the Nifty50 opened at the level of 10,331.55 from its previous close of 10,234.65. During its trading session, it touched an intraday high of 10,492.45.
The recovery in Asian peers, appreciation of rupee and fall in crude oil led to broad-based buying. The result, the Nifty formed a bullish candle on daily candlestick charts. However, the Bank Nifty index closed a 25,395.85, up 611.90 points. The major indices of wall street DJIA, S&P 500, and NASDAQ rose 1.15 percent, 1.42 percent, and 2.29 percent respectively.
Taking cue from global sentiment, it is expected to see a flat opening in today’s session.
