In its previous trading session, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty index opened at the level of 10,614.70 from its previous closing of 10,598.40. Although as it remained in a narrow range of 142 points and ended with a “Hanging Man” kind of formation and closed 13.20 points lower at 10,585.20. The index which opened slightly higher failed to sustain its gains and turned negative making the same pattern on daily charts.
The Nifty Bank index closed at 25,771.0 on Friday.

Update: The Asian shares also fell on Monday, extending weakness in global equity markets.
Taking cues from the Friday session in domestic and global market, it is expected to see a flat to negative opening in today’s session.
