The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty50 index which opened on a flat note on yesterday at 10,580.60 closed above 10,600 at 10,616.70, 40.40 points up. The Nifty finally managed to close above 10,600 levels after consolidating for nine straight sessions.
The gains were driven by the Auto, Banking & Financials, and Metal Stocks etc. Hence, there is a formation of a small bullish candle on the daily charts. On the other hand, the Bank Nifty index closed at 26,154.75, up 224.60 points on Thursday.
Update: Washington would pause further tariffs on Chinese imports.
The resolve in a trade dispute in the United States and China influenced the US stocks.
Taking cues from the global sentiment and previous trading session of the domestic market, it is expected to see a positive opening in today’s session.
