Domestic market’s major indices NIFTY and SENSEX are trading on a flat to positive note in today’s trading session. The market breadth also favored declines, with 1023 stocks declining and only 579 stocks advancing, and 450 remaining unchanged.
The stocks in NSE that hit fresh 52-week high in Thursday’s trading session are Electrosteel, Gayatri Highways, Godrej, and Infosys. The NIFTY was lifted with the gains from Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Auto, Exide Industries, and Bharat Forge.
With the rise in crude oil prices, the oil & gas stocks have become weak which explains the most top losers in today’s NIFTY trading session are of BPCL, GAIL India, Reliance Industries, and HPCL etc.
Metal stocks are also having a good day and shining with gains from Tata Steel, Hindalco Industries, JSW Steel & Power, and Vedanta.
And at last, the most actively traded stocks on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) were HDFC Bank, TCS, Infosys, ICICI Bank, and Reliance Industries etc.
