As Expected the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty50 index which closed higher at previous trade at 10,908.70 is now opened on a positive note and surging above 10,900 levels. The index opened at 10,930.55 level and trading near the level of 10,946.55, 37.85 points up. (09:22 AM IST)
It is also a good start for BSE-Sensex index which is up 94.64 points or 0.26 percent.
Among sectors, automobiles, banks, metal, and energy indices are trading in the green. The top gainers among Nifty50 are India bulls, Hindustan Petroleum, Asian Paints, Indian Oil, and Bharat Petroleum however the top losers are Zeel Entertainment, Infosys, HCL technology, Dr. Reddy’s, and Sun Pharmaceuticals etc.
The shares of OMCs rose in trade on today morning as investors bet on fall in crude prices. It led to rise in the shares of airlines as a lower crude implies better profitability for airlines companies.
