As expected, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty opened on a flat note slightly lower than its previous closing level of 11,520.30 to 11,514.85. On the other hand, the BSE Sensex opened at the level of 38.192.95 from its previous closing level of 38,157.92.
Even as tepid global cues and strengthen dollar weighing on investors’ concerns.
The top gainers among Nifty 50 are IT stocks Tech Mahindra, HCL Technology, TCS, and Infosys, and Wipro. The IT sector was the only gainers in the previous trade as well. However, the top losers are Grasim, Ultra Cement, Asian Paints, and Titan.
Weakness in the metals space has continued, with Nifty Metal index falling over a percent, while auto and banks are trading in the red.
