Finally, Nifty50 broke its flat sentiment and opened on a positive note at the level of 11,006.95 from its previous closing level of 10,948.30. It moved up by 58.65 points. However, it was showing flat openings from last three consecutive days. But, today Nifty touched 11k again.
In its trading session, the top gainers are TCS, Bajaj Auto, Hindustan Unilever, and Reliance among others.
On the other hand, the SENSEX also opened on a positive note at the level of 36,424.23 from its previous closing level of 36,265.93 and still rising. In its early trading hour, it touched a high of 36,490.60.
Update: The Indian Rupee opened flat at 68.76 per dollar on Thursday against the previous close 68.77. On the domestic front, volatility for the USDINR pair could be confined to a narrow range ahead of inflation and industrial production number that will be released today.
