The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty index opened on slightly higher than its previous close of 11,438.10 to the level of 11,438.10. After a gap-up opening, the Nifty 50 remained volatile in early trade on September 11. But, the index lost all the morning gains in later part of the session and breach to the psychological 11,300-mark. Further weakness in the rupee and trade war tensions hit market sentiment.
The market corrected sharply for the second consecutive session, forming a large bearish candle on the daily candlestick chart.
The Nifty closed at 11,287.50 and were 1.32% or 15.60 points down on yesterday.
Taking cues from global sentiment it is expected to see some positive sentiment in the today’s session.
