The NSE Nifty50 index which opened near 11,257.70 at the previous trading session on Friday closed on a positive note near 11,305.05, 70.50 points up. During the trading session it touched an intraday high of 11,362.90. As a result, the index formed a spinning top formation on the daily candlestick charts. However, on weekly charts, it formed a bullish candle.
Meanwhile, the BSE-SENSEX closed 246.68 points higher at 38,127.08.
Global Market: The US stocks ended more than 1 percent higher on Friday after the announcement of a partial trade deal between the United States and China.
As a result, the DJIA closed to 26,816.59, 319.92 points up, the S&P500 closed to 2,970.27 32.14 points up, and NASDAQ Composite added 106.27 points to 8,057.04.
Taking cues from the previous trading session and trend on SGX Nifty, it is expected to see a negative opening in today’s trading session.
