In today’s trading session, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) NIFTY opened on a positive note at the level of 11,620.70 from its previous closing level of 11,546.90. The stock of many companies has risen to a new level. Among them, the Indian oil-to-telecom mammoth Reliance Industries touched a fresh 52-week high of Rs. 1,260.80. Also, Reliance becomes the first company to reach the market capitalization of Rs. 8 lakh crore.
Right now the market valuation of Reliance is Rs. 8,00,001.54 crore which stood considerably higher than TCS’ Rs. 7,77,870 crore m-cap. The shares of the company have surged 60 percent in the last one year against 63 percent rise in TCS stock during the same period.
Apart from this, the other featured stocks are Axis Bank, Birla Cable, Cipla Ltd., Dabur India, Godrej, Havells, and Indiabulls among others.
