The National Stock Exchange (NSE) 50-share benchmark index which closed near 12,201.20 at previous trading session is now opened near 12,219.55 on a flat note. However, after the opening it couldn’t sustain its opening level and plunged to 12,145.50, 55.70 points down. (12:33 PM IST) The index lost its gains of last two consecutive sessions and trading on a lower note on the day of weekly expiry.
However, many stocks still managed to hit their fresh 52-week highs on NSE today including Adani Enterprises, AGC Networks, Arman Financial Services, Bharat Rasayan, Escorts Ltd, Gujarat Sidhee Cement, Hindustan Unilever, Indoco Remedies, Larsen & Toubro Infotech, United Spirits, Shilpa Medicare, Tasty Bite Eatables, Torrent Medicare, Unitech Ltd, and Themis Medicare Ltd.
Over 40 stocks had crossed their 52-week highs in today’s trading session on NSE.
