Today, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty index opened on a positive note slightly higher than its previous closing level of 11,438.10 to the level of 11,476.85. But, just after the opening it starts plunging and fall below the 11,400-mark and trading around 11,362.10 (11 Sep, 2:10 PM IST). Even the SENSEX has down 200 points. The benchmark indices are trading lower as the rupee hover near its record low, while fears of an escalation in the US-China tariff dispute still continues.
The stocks that hit fresh 52-week low on NSE today include BPCL, Dhanlaxmi Bank, Manappuram Finance and Jaiprakash Associates, Prestige Estates Projects, Videocon Industries, SRS, S Chand and Company, VRL Logistics, and Shankara Building Products among others.
And the top lowers on NSE are Titan, ITC, ZEEL, Powergrid and many others.
