The Indian stock market has turned negative today when one of the major benchmark indices of the domestic market, Nifty starts plunging after the opening. It opened at the level of 11,326.65 from its previous closing level of 11,278.90.
It turned negative in the afternoon and trading near 11,240.70 (3:19 PM IST, 19 Sep).
Media stocks are trading in the red with the index down over 2 percent which dragged by Dish TV, Zee Entertainment, DEN Networks, and Hathway Cable etc. Not just that over 120 stocks have hit the fresh 52-week low including Bharat Electronics, GIC Housing, Gammon Infra, Jet Airways, JK Tyres and Industries, Ujjivan Financial Services, GIC Housing, and Dish TV among others.
