Today the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty50 benchmark index opened on a flat note at the level of 10,591.00 from its previous closing level of 10,549.15. Currently, it is trading near the level of 10,654.55, 105.40 points up. (12:31 PM IST)
During its trading session, many stocks hit their 52-week lows on NSE including ABG Shipyard Ltd, ANG Industries, Gayatri Highways, Hisar Metal Industries, IL&FS Transportation Networks, Kanani Industries, MVL Ltd, Prakash Constrowell, Tara Jewels, and Rolta India Ltd among others.
It is the Realty sector which is the outperforming sector, up over 2 percent led by stocks like Real Estate and India Bulls which spiked over 5 percent followed by Godrej Properties, Sobha, Brigade Enterprises, DLF, and Oberoi Realty etc.
However there are only a few stocks that succeed to hit their fresh 52-week highs are Aavas Financiers, Sakuma Exports, and Tube Investments of India etc.
