The Indian benchmark index Nifty50 which opened on a flat note today at 11,735.70 has surged in the morning session and trading near 11,750.35, 24.20 points up from its previous closing level of 11,726.15. During the trading session, many stocks hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE including the Ultra tech Cement which break its previous high of Rs. 4,493.65 and touched the new 52-week high of Rs. 4,686.60.
In fact, it touched an all-time high on strong Q4FY19 results of the March quarter. The company reported strong performance in the March quarter and surpassed its previous all-time high. It had a profit of Rs. 488 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Apart from this, the other stocks that touched the new 52-week highs are Bajaj Finserv, Balramor chini mills, Brightcomgroup, Fine Organic Industries Ltd, Bank of Maharashtra, and Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd among others.
