The U.S stock index futures opened lower in the early trading session on Monday because of the rise in benchmark crude prices.
S&P 500 and Dow 30 have opened lower on 2773.93 and 26,149.11. The news is also not so good from Nasdaq as it has opened lower on 7468.51.
The Brent crude futures rose by 1.27%, which meant that the oil prices trader higher at $71.07 per barrel. On the other hand, the U.S WTI crude futures increased by 0.63% and was trading at $60.57 a barrel.
