The U.S stock index futures opened higher in the early trading session on Monday ahead of the release of the personal income and consumer spending data for the month of September.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average opened higher at 24,818.98. The Standard & Poor's 500 futures climbed to 2692.87. The Nasdaq futures opened marginally higher at 7272.42.
Besides the personal income and consumer spending data, the Dallas Fed manufacturing data for October will also be released later in the session.
