The U.S stock index futures opened solidly in the early trading session on Monday after the investors were delighted with the news of a trade deal between the United States and Canada.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced to 26,598.36. Futures for the S&P 500 opened higher at 2930.06. The Nasdaq climbed to 8091.5.
The trade deal between the U.S and Canada will go on to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). NAFTA is expected to replaced with the new trade pact that will be known as the United States-Mexico-Canada (USMCA).
