Well, it is very rare to see Wall Street’s major three indices to trade with positive bias. NASDAQ opened with a positive bias on 7,217.25 from its previous close of 7,215.00. S&P 500 & Dow 30 followed the footsteps of NASDAQ and traded with positive sentiment and opened at 2,776.62 and 25,192.14 respectively.
The S&P 500 opened little changed on Thursday after four days of gains in a row, with a poor financial report from J.M. Smucker pulling down packaged food makers and countering boost for technology firms the lifting of a ban on China’s ZTE Corp.
The S&P 500 Futures was up over one and a half points or 0.06 percent to 2,774.00 as of 06:44 AM ET (10:44 GMT) while tech-heavy NASDAQ 100 Futures fell one point or 0.02 percent to 7,213.75. Meanwhile, Dow Futures increased 45 points or 0.18 percent to 25,185.0.
The positive sentiment in the global market will surely influence the domestic market in a positive way.
