The Indian benchmark indices ended on flat note from its previous closing session followed by mixed global cues. At close, Nifty ended up 7.80 points at 11,914.00 while Sensex closed below 15.45 points at 39,741.36. Overall market breadth was in favour bears where 1164 stocks were in decline and 598 stocks were in advance and 334 were unchanged on NSE. Among the sectoral indices, Nifty Media & Financial services were closed in green and others were closed in red.
According to weekly option derivatives diaries, maximum Call writing open interest of 1.28 lakh contracts was seen at the 12,000 strike price, which will act as a crucial resistance level for tomorrow's trading session. However, Put writing open interest seen at 11,800 strike price with 12.46 lakh contracts, which will act as a strong support.
